During the war, Darik was assigned to an Inquisitor. A Cleric, he had to heal enemy combatants being questioned (i.e., tortured) bringing them back from the brink of death to be questioned further. It broke him. Now he uses his powers to heal, comfort, fight evil, and give the mercy of an easy death when needed.
