Submitted character story

You are the kind of paladin who charges forward when others freeze, a Bold Hero who acts before calculating odds. The children at the shoreline taught you that paralysis ends when someone else depends on your movement. You carry the weight of every second you hesitated before the water exploded, wondering if slower hands would have cost lives. Tables will remember you as the player who steps into the monster's path while everyone else is still reading initiative order.

Defining moment: 2 years after an epidemic hit her home town taking her younger brothers life and many more, she helped the town's orphanage, caring and playing with the children, hoping to color their childhood despite the depressing atmosphere that still lingered after the epidemic. Whilst out around the lake watching the children play in the water and along the shoreline, she noticed a dark shadow approach underneath the surface of the water. Grasping the grip of her sword, she ordered the children to back away slowly as she stepped forward, shielding the children with her tiny frame, the best she could. It all happened in a flash as the goniopholis burst out of the water, taking up her field of vision as she stood frozen in horror. The children screamed and ran, darting everywhere at the sight, while she could only grip her sword tighter. She wasnt prepared for this, but she knew she was the only thing keeping this monster from the children…from her town. She barked to the children to call for backup as she watched the monster slither up the shore. Finally, she took the sword in hand, aiming it at the beast as everything started to blur. She doesn't know how she did it, maybe it was adrenaline or a god watching her, but she killed the beast.
