You are the seeker who knows the thing you are looking for may not exist anymore. You map exits before threats arrive, and you take time with people who have stories to tell. You were torn from something once, raised by silence and study, so when others defaced what little remained you walked without looking back. You trust strangers in ways that contradict your caution, taking what is offered when your instinct says yes. The table will remember you as the one who finishes carefully, who shares the kill without claiming it, who never mistakes patience for softness.
Defining moment: A flicker of some repressed memory, a flicker of fire and conflict. A child too small to understand... and a father who's power matches his rage... but there was another. A brother? A twin? Identical but with dark hair... they clung together in that chaos until being ripped apart... Curiels earliest solid memories being of the life that followed, raised by isolated scholars in a cloister sheltered from the world.
That being the life he knew, it was never a secret that he was an Aasimar, the child of a God, but he's grown up with no leads, no clues, and a longing to find what family might remain. On the fringes of his subconscious, he has a twin brother named Luriel he doesn't fully remember.
Drawing a wish card with his last party, Curiel inherited a Manor from a late uncle he didn't even know about. To him this was important, but in his absence, the friends he trusted plundered that estate and defaced an altar sacred to his uncle before he could even learn anything about his bloodline, or what God he is born from. Now he wanders alone, carefully, seeking answers.
