Cotard Fuga woke up on unfamiliar shores, remembering nothing about himself except his own name. The world around him seemed alien, and the people who happened to pass by were strangers to him. Gradually, he got to know those who became his friends, and together with them, he began to piece together his past bit by bit.

Over time, Cotard learned that he had once been a scientist and possessed no innate magic. However, as a result of unknown experiments involving a girl named Kari - whom he can barely remember, save for her jet-black hair - a power was awakened within him. Cotard still doesn’t know exactly what happened between them or what price he had to pay for it.

Fragments of his past continue to resurface, but Cotard has already come to terms with the fact that he will never be the person he once was. Now he sees himself as a completely new person who has yet to discover his true purpose. And even though old memories still surface from the depths of his consciousness, Cotard Fuga’s story is far from over.
