Corvos Corone

Submitted character story

When the temple burned, Vane (formerly known as Corvos) chose to walk directly into the smoke to rescue his dying mentor, who held the truth about the corruption rotting inside the abbey.

As the inferno consumed the building, searing embers burned an intricate, glowing map to a hidden vault directly into his skin. He managed to carry his mentor out of the blaze, emerging with a blackened raven-feather pendant and permanent scars from the heat.

Following the tragedy, he took on the name Vane to serve as a reminder that he alone determines his path, regardless of which way the winds of fate blow. Ever since that night, the fire has never truly left his eyes—nor has the smoke ever fully cleared from his lungs.
