Defining moment:
Corva had always lived a hard life - a slave to a despot king, raised to become a brainwashed assassin at his behest. She escaped and fled across the sea, only to fall to the only life she knew, gaining employment in a dark assassin’s guild, and became known as the notorious assassin Nightfeller. She had given up any hope to have a purpose or calling…this was all she could do to survive a harsh unforgiving world. Bounty hunters came for her. Her name became synonymous with fear and death. 
But everything changed when she was sent to assassinate the Sun Goddess’s chosen, the holy Princess Raeliah. She failed and was expecting to die, but instead was forgiven and offered a hand and a new occupation: Raeliah’s personal knight and captain of her guard. Hope. Purpose. And soon, budding love. Corva was now devoted to her charge, her lady, and with all the skills she picked up in the underworld was determined to keep her princess safe at any cost, even her own life. One pained worthless meager life in exchange for the woman who gave her everything, who gave her a chance to live as herself instead of as an assassin.
