    "story": "Conquerer is the reflection of a shadow of something that only exists within another's mind. He knows this just as the rest do. He is an idea of control pushed outward, tainted by fear and desire. He was sitting in the heart of his area of control, the only place he feels safe, when the shift happened, and unreal became truth. It started with a burst of ecstasy, without anything causing pain, true existence felt like divine pleasure. Then fear came calling as Conquerer realized his control was gone, left only with his first pets. Immediately he begins to reach out, to control, to dominate, to conquer, because if it is not his, it is wrong, and if it is wrong, it is dangerous. Then the unraveling starts, deep in his chest, past his heart, beyond his body, something twists, begins to fall apart. This isn't the first time this has begun, and he knows he'll have to return if he wants to live, with finding Mania being the first step. Yet even as he sets out, a niggling thought stays deep in his head, what if he could find a way to make this inversion permanent, rather than return to how it was."
