Defining moment:
The air was dry in the abandoned church as Clifford faced down the man who held a knife to Lilith's throat. She nodded for him to take the shot, like she had a hundred times before. The man laughed as Clifford pulled the trigger on his six shooter, his finger calm, his aim true. The moment the shot went off, the man turned, pulling Lilith into the path of the bullet and it struck her in the head, killing her instantly. Clifford screamed in rage as the man dropped her lifeless form and ran. Clifford fired off the remaining shots in his handgun, his rage causing him to miss every shot and he watched helplessly as the man escaped. Clifford ran to his wife's side. Ut there was nothing he could do. Right then and there, he vowed the avenge her and kill the man responsible for her death. It would be a slow, painful death for the man who killed Lilith.
