cinder was a character of mine that never really got any resolution because  the campaign i ran her in ended abruptly.  
long story short she is a very draconic tifling  as in she had some red dragon scales along her arms and body.  
the running joke was that cinder was the result of  "the bard who fked a dragon"
she escaped the under dark, running from pouters that hunted  her kind   for sport and the scales in the black market.  
Cinder learned how to hunt these evil humans though and became a great assassin and thief. 
she had never seen the world above    and so her and her and her three friends (names i cant remember) made a plan to leave the under dark to see the world and end the crimes committed to her kind.  along the way she met a strange doctor and they slowly became friends. the doctor was fascinated by cinder he had never seen her kind before.   she gave him permission to examen her, but things took a turn when the dr's other personality took over  and augmented her body now making her look more dragon than before.  the dr never forgave himself for this but  cinder never resented him for it.  in fact it made her even more deadly than before and she liked that.
