Defining moment: Cid was always troubled. After witnessing his twin brother murdered in front of him as a teen, he was an outcast, shunned. People thought he was insane, and treated him with caution. But, that's natural when your body holds two souls. Still, he persevered, became a beloved instructor, and led his former students into a new world when they unexpectedly stumbled upon it, ensuring they stayed safe and thrived. Along the way, he found a woman who made him realize that his life was worth living, that there could be another way than sacrifice. And that, was who Cid really was. A man who wouldn't hesitate to make the sacrifice play if it was necessary, but who also now knew that there was more to life than planning to trade it for another, and would always find a way.
