Submitted character story

You're the wizard who chose the Blackfen and the Shadow Investigator's watchful path, always calculating costs. The forests of the Feywild taught you survival has a price, and she paid yours with her life. Now you carry two burdens: the power you've earned and the guilt of being the one who made it out. Every spell you master is proof that her sacrifice wasn't wasted, a ledger you'll never balance.

Defining moment: The forests of the Feywild, the endless twilight, the party I joined with, all dead save for me and the Sorcerer, an old school friend. She talked me into joining the hunt. But as soon as we stepped into the weirdness of the Fey realm we were the prey. The details are fuzzy now, but she managed to open a portal, push me through and sent me back home. The last thing I remember is the portal closing and her fending off the monsters.
