## Backstory
Aiden Phaeldara was born in the ancient city of Sengor, the oldest city on the continent of Taldor and the center of noble families ruled by the Council of Nobility. He was born into a noble household and was the heir of House Phaeldara—but a very different fate awaited him.
In a culture where marrying outside the Elf race was considered an unforgivable sin, Aiden fell in love with a Tiefling warlock woman whose gaze blurred the boundary between darkness and light. Their love resulted in a Tiefling daughter—and this “stain” shook House Phaeldara to its core.
His father, enraged and ashamed, imprisoned him within the estate under house arrest to “cleanse the bloodline from within.” But Aiden refused to remain bound by tradition. On a stormy night, he drugged his guards with a sleeping potion, escaped the castle, stole a horse, and fled toward Emon—the city where he had first met his love.
But when he arrived… she was gone.
The innkeeper said: “I think she went east…”
Aiden followed her trail eastward, eventually reaching Westrun. There, while searching for her, he joined a caravan. He found no trace of her, but discovered a magical academy and enrolled, seeking a new path to power.
Physically weak since childhood, Aiden excelled in magic and became one of the academy’s top students, possessing a sharp mind and unbreakable will.
He spent three years in Westrun—surrounded by manipulative teachers, a grieving father searching for his lost daughter, and a prince still dreaming of reclaiming his crown.

# The Story of Aiden’s Parents
Aiden’s mother was a High Elf noble and a highly skilled archer. Her stealth and precision made her stand out among all elves. Her name was (…).
His father was a moderately skilled knight named (…).
One sunny day, Aiden’s father and a group of warriors were traveling through a forest when suddenly all animals began fleeing in panic. The soldiers prepared for battle.
Then they heard a woman’s scream.
They rushed toward the sound and discovered a massive dragon had entered the forest. At that moment, the dragon struck Aiden’s mother with its tail, throwing her toward the group.
The soldiers caught her and immediately engaged the dragon.
The battle was devastating. Most of the warriors were killed, and Aiden’s father was severely wounded. Barely standing, he held his sword as blood poured from his body.
Suddenly, two arrows flew past him.
One struck the dragon’s eye.
The other hit beneath its eye.
The dragon roared in pain and retreated.
That was the moment Aiden’s parents first met.
Aiden’s mother was deeply impressed by his bravery. On the way back, she was cared for by him, and over time, admiration turned into love, and they began a new life together.

# The Birth of Aiden
Years later, they had a son.
Aiden’s father was overjoyed to have an heir and immediately commissioned a master blacksmith to forge a special dagger engraved with the name “Aiden Phaeldara.”
From childhood, both parents tried to train him. His mother taught archery, and his father taught combat.
But Aiden showed no interest in fighting.
Instead, he loved books, stories, writing, and knowledge.
Seeing this, his parents decided to send him to a magical academy so he would not grow up without skills.
Aiden eagerly accepted and began learning harmless spells. Over the years, he grew older and stronger in magic. He often traveled with his father and, once trusted, was sent to handle duties in his place.
After completing missions, he would always visit libraries instead of resting.

# Meeting Maria
During one mission to Emon, Aiden completed his task and, as usual, went to the city library.
On the way, he saw a Tiefling woman imprisoned and suffering in a corner of the city.
He approached her.
When she raised her head, Aiden was overwhelmed by sorrow, as if he could see her entire painful past in her eyes.
In a moment of decision, he freed her when no one was watching.
He brought her to his residence, hid her, cared for her injuries, bought medicine, and listened to her stories.
Over time, a deep bond formed between them.
After two months, a messenger from Sengor arrived, asking why Aiden had not returned.
Aiden claimed he was studying rare magical texts in Emon and would return later.
He continued sending updates and requesting money from his family while secretly living with Maria.
Eventually, Maria became pregnant.
Aiden was overjoyed and prepared for the child’s birth.
When the child was born, it was a beautiful Tiefling daughter.
However, news spread across the city.
The messenger who carried Aiden’s letters discovered the truth and informed House Phaeldara.
Soon after, Aiden’s parents arrived in Emon.
At first, they brought gifts for their son, Maria, and their granddaughter—but everything changed when they saw Maria and the Tiefling child.
Immediately, they ordered everyone arrested.
Aiden was separated from Maria.
Maria was separated from her child.
And Aiden’s world collapsed.

# What Aiden Knows About Maria
Maria is a Tiefling warlock.
She knows nothing about her family except for a necklace she keeps as a memento.
She once made a pact with an unknown patron to gain her powers, but failed to fulfill its demands and lost them.
With no home or support, she turned to theft and survived by moving from city to city.
Eventually, a bounty was placed on her head.
When she arrived in Emon, bounty hunters captured her, beat her severely, and locked her in a stable to be delivered the next morning for reward money.
That same night, Aiden freed her.
Maria never revealed the truth about the mission that caused her to lose her powers.
Whenever Aiden asked about her past, she avoided answering.
The only thing Aiden knows is that she had killed people during that mission, but eventually abandoned it because she could no longer continue.

## Faith

Unknown to him, Sehanine herself guided and protected him during his escape on the stormy night, helping him begin the path that shaped his destiny.
