Aethelwurn

Dragonborn / Cleric

Submitted character story

You are the cleric who understands that salvation isn't given, it's built one choice at a time. You took the King's Road and met the Iron Matron as the Bold Hero because you've learned that redemption demands you show up where the need is greatest, visible and accountable. Zephirion pulled you back when the weight of those you couldn't save in the cataclysm nearly crushed you, and you answered by dedicating yourself to bringing others back from their own darkness. But every time you extend grace to someone who caused harm, you wonder if the dead from your city would call it mercy or betrayal. They'll remember you as the one who kept the door open when everyone else reached for the lock.

Defining moment: Aethelwurn was lost for a long time held back by the mistakes he made in failing to help more people in a cataclysm that claimed the city he was from. However when zephirion shone down on him and offered him a way to redeem others and him self. He became Brother Aethelwurn who strives to make the world better, even if it means allowing those that caused its darkness back into the light
