Adhira

Dragonborn / Paladin

Submitted character story

Adhira was left orphaned as an egg and was found and adopted by an entertainer troupe that was mostly human. She became close friends with a particular red haired boy, Pyrrhus, and the two eventually fell in love. In order to conceal the fact she's dragonborn from outsiders, she wears a band on one arm spelled with an illusion to make her appear human. One night the troupe was attacked by raiders. Adhira barely survived and was rescued and nursed back to health by the Sages and Paladins of a nearby temple, eventually joining the Paladin ranks as an Ancient Oath. There were no other survivors of the raid (or so she thought). Joining her current party was a bit jarring, having spent most of a decade with her sole companion being Chloe, her talking cat. A lynx-sized cream and red queen. Eventually, Pyrrhus, who had also survived, finds them. Not recognizing him at first, due to him now being dragonborn, she and a few others were ready to attack him. It takes a while for her to gather the courage to admit the feelings she's harbored for him for so long, but she does and he ends up meeting Bastion, his own lynx-sized cat and a companion of Chloe's
